Grant Request to Complete Highway 395 Wildlife Crossing

On Tuesday, November 15th, Caltrans and California Department of Fish and Wildlife will be presenting to the State of California Wildlife Conservation Board asking for the grant to complete the planning for a wildlife overpass over 395 near Mammoth Lakes, CA. (Item #26 on their list of agenda items.) This has been a long time in the works and is needed to help protect both wildlife being struck on the highway and injured and killed, as well as protecting the passengers riding along the highway.
