Sierra Club is a sponsor of a free public lecture on health and climate change by Dr. Alan Lockwood of Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) on October 19 at UW-Madison. Heat Advisory: Protecting Health on A Warming Planet, is the title of Dr. Lockwood's new book, just published by the MIT Press. His presentation is sponsored by PSR Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Environmental Health Network, and the Family Medicine and Community Health Department, UW School of Medicine and Public Health. His lecture will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 8:00 p.m. in the Vandenburg Auditorium of the Pyle Center, 702 Langdon St. Please join us for the reception prior to the lecture from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. to meet and talk with Dr. Lockwood.
