Madison bus to Midwest Renewable Energy Fair June 22

Four Lakes Group Sierra Club is sponsoring a full motor coach bus (DVD, WiFi) to the MREA Energy Fair in Custer to reduce our carbon footprint and bring attention to mass transit needs. Use our fun and easy low-carbon way to attend the 30th Annual Energy Fair with its great workshops, exhibits and other activities. We'll provide some food and refreshments, but you are welcome to bring something to share. Please let us know where you plan to get on the bus so we can expect you. Bus pickups start at 7 a.m. in Middleton and goes through Madison, arriving at the Fair about 9:45 a.m. The bus leaves to come back at 7:15 p.m. after the evening keynote, and will be at Willy St. West in Middleton by 10 p.m.

Stops: Willy St West, Middleton - Departs 7 a.m.; 357 Price Place (Hilldale Mall near Great Dane) - 7:15; Kohl Center, 601 W Dayton - 7:30; behind Hawthorne Library,  2707 Hermina - 7:45. Portage stop optional. Leave MREA at 7:15 p.m. and will be back at Willy St. Coop west by 10 p.m. Please get there on time, and make sure you let us know where you plan to get on the bus so we can expect you and provide a number we can contact you at. If you decide to cancel, let us know so to provide room for other people.

We're also looking for someone to help out with some of the logistics of keeping track of people, food, etc. Please let us know if you can help.

Cost: Free, but donations accepted.

Signup Restrictions: Youth under 16 should be accompanied by an adult, and any minors will need a signed waiver by their parent.
