Sierra Club Wyoming (SCWY) advocates for the protection of public land from natural resource extraction such as oil and gas or mining development. We work with other non-profit, federal, state and Tribal partners to advocate for public involvement in federal processes. Organizers for SCWY develop relationships, teams and partners; rally volunteers; build grassroots power; and developi and implement strategies to further conservation in Wyoming. We are helping to build a movement of inspired folx to win campaigns that address climate change, protect our clean environment, and ensure that we maintain abundant wildlife and wild places. The main goal is moving toward a different economy while protecting Wyoming's natural resources -- abundant wildlife, undeveloped wild places, and a clean environment.
