Air Pollution from vehicles is a huge contributor to climate change. It is also dangerous to the health of those who breath it, especially children. Schools have the power to help with both of these problems. In today's world many students get a ride to or from school everyday. Some are dropped off by parents and some by school buses.

East Peoria Green is working with East Peoria School District 86 to remind  school bus drivers and parents to turn off their vehicles when they are waiting for their children. The signs were supplied by East Peoria Green and the school district has installed a sign in the pick up zone at each of the elementary schools in East Peoria.
