Special Recognition for Chapter Director Jack Darin.

Sixty years young is how the Illinois Chapter Sierra Club sees it: there is a lot of work to do and not much time. An Illinois Chapter Sierra fund-raiser party was held in Chicago August 29th to celebrate the Chapter’s 60th anniversary. Jack Darin was honored for his thirty year anniversary as our state Sierra Director. Illinois Sierra needs your help to continue its significant work. Our Chapter does essential work on legislative issues, pollution cases, and many other environmental concerns that help all of us in the state. In case you were wondering, Heart of Illinois Group Sierra Club was officially formed in 1971 and our 50th anniversary will be coming up in 2021.
