Legislation in Springfield is moving fast and your help is needed now for CEJA, the Clean Energy Jobs Act to make it over the finish line!  Please phone the Governor’s Office 217-782-6831 or 312-814-2121 and leave a message to urge he support CEJA. We need the Clean Energy Jobs Act now!

CEJA is the only clean energy legislation that has extended provisions for equity in new jobs, training and employment; promotes Energy Efficiency; and has help for communities faced with coal plant closures. Over one hundred environmental, health, social justice, and faith-based organizations support CEJA.

Please phone Peoria area Representative Jehan Gordon-Booth 217-782-3186 as she has signed in support of a bill that has no equity and environmental justice provisions and ask her to support CEJA instead. Thank State Senator Koehler for being a co-sponsor of CEJA!
