Good News! The “Pleasure Driveway and Park District of Peoria, Illinois, Resolution Regarding our Commitment to Protect Park District Participants, Visitors, Staff and First Responders from the Dangers of High-Pressure Carbon Dioxide Pipelines” was unanimously voted in June, after several months of deliberations by the Park Board. Thanks to all the HOI group members and friends who attended the board meeting and contacted board members.

Time is of the essence now:  HOI is asking members in Stark, Peoria, and Tazewell Counties to please reach out to your township board, city council, and county board. Urge them to enact a moratorium on carbon dioxide pipelines until the new federal regulations currently under review are approved and in effect.
