Calls Needed to U.S. Rep. Darin LaHood

Please phone U.S. House District 18 Representative Darin LaHood, Peoria Office phone 309-671-7027 or your district Representative, and ask that he/she support America’s Red Rock Wilderness Act, House Bill HR 2430, which will protect the beautiful fragile, arid, federally owned Bureau of Land Management lands from fracking, oil drilling, and destruction of archaeological sites. We need to insure these beautiful canyons and unique landscapes are not destroyed for future generations. Ask your Representative to oppose Rep. Bishop’s Public Lands Initiative and any legislation that reduces the size of the wilderness protection and rolls back protections. This red rock canyon country of Utah is one of the most magnificent wild landscapes in the American West. Local economies depend on tourism and outdoor recreation these lands offer.
