Whatever your time allows, there is a way you can help the Clean Energy Jobs Act/CEJA this year. From making one phone call a week, to joining virtual lobby sessions or letter writing, we have a variety of ways you can be part of the CEJA team. This is the essential year to move forward, as solar and other programs in the Future Energy Jobs Act are out of funding.
CEJA is the new and expanded jobs, equity, and clean energy legislative package to power up our state and meet climate change goals for reduction of green house gasses. Take a look at this amazing legislation and you will understand how essential it is that the Illinois legislature pass CEJA now. CEJA promotes jobs, equity, and economic opportunity, particularly in communities of color, and will ensure Illinois reaches 100% renewable energy by 2050. CEJA provisions will reduce the equivalent of one million gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles from our roads by incentivizing Electric Vehicle charging stations and EV truck fleets and other clean vehicles.
