Imagine a childhood without nature. For far too many kids (and their families!) the Rocky Mountains are just a distant view, not a playground. If you live in the Longmont or Boulder area, you can help change that!
Boulder Valley Inspiring Connections Outdoors (ICO) is an all-volunteer program of the Sierra Club that offers free, life-changing nature adventures—from local fishing to camping to backpacking. We're building a new, diverse generation of environmental stewards, one happy kid at a time. And we’re now expanding to Longmont (as well as growing our Boulder/Lafayette program). Whether you love fishing or hiking or backpacking, we have an outing for you to lead, and we provide all the training and support you'll need. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome.
