“We can prevent and minimize these types of emergencies across the US. We know that chemical disasters happen every three days in the United States. The Biden Administration is actually working to review and strengthen the rules to prevent these types of explosions and fires,” said Sonya Lunder, Senior Toxics Policy Advisor with Sierra Club.
