Boris the Bobcat: A Life Well-Lived

Sunday Speaker Series
Feb. 13: Boris the Bobcat at the Discovery Center

In February, you'll have the chance to meet and greet (virtually) Boris the Bobcat, the centerpiece of the Wildlife Discovery Center in Lake Forest.

Boris the Bobcat

Boris was born into captivity about 11 years ago. He has lived ever since at the Wildlife Discovery Center, along with other wildlife that can no longer survive on their native land.

Boris' primary caretakers, Steve Ballen and Matt Reid, will join us to share the natural history of bobcats and their amazing adventures as wildlife volunteers at the Center.

Register now to join us on Feb. 13.

The presentation is another in a series of family-friendly online programs that explore the natural history and environmental challenges of the land we call home in northeastern Illinois. The programs, sponsored by the Woods & Wetlands Group, are held at 7 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month. They are free and open to the public. Registration is required to get the login link.
