Southeast Iowa Sierra Club

Mission

Our mission is to engage our Southeast Iowa community in better understanding, appreciating and protecting nature.

Goals

  • Mitigate the impacts of climate change and build a more resilient Fairfield community.

  • Transition to 100% clean, renewable energy resources.

  • Restore vitality to our wildlands, wild waters and wildlife.

  • Transition to zero waste through thoughtful consumption, waste reduction and redirection.

Strategic Plan

These four goals will be implemented using our STRATEGIC CONSERVATION & COMMUNITY RESILIENCE PLAN 2021-2024
