- Reducing costs, GHG emissions, the need for landfill space, and the use of non-biodegradables
- Realizing economic and community health benefits of smart consumption and waste reduction

- Complete Fairfield waste streams mapping project
- Explore commercial composting options
- Work with food vendors/restaurants to eliminate Styrofoam and to identify replacement packaging materials
- Work with schools to improve waste management/recycling education
