Earth Week 2021: 10 Days of Education & Action

Starting this week, the Sierra Club will host 10 days of story-based education and action from Earth Day to May Day to cap off an action-packed first 100 days of advocacy under a new administration and Congress. Events will start with an acknowledgement of the many successes we’ve achieved so far, while setting forth a vision for the bold work ahead to develop a transformative and sustainable future rooted in environmental, racial, economic, climate, and gender justice.

The 10-day series will kick off on the Wednesday before Earth Day with an event with Sierra Club Executive Director Michael Brune, President Ramón Cruz, and other Sierra Club leaders. Together, they’ll discuss the once-in-a-generation opportunities we have before us to create a livable planet for all and how advocates can get involved throughout the week.

Each day provides a deep dive into intersectional education and organizing -- highlighting immediate priorities, building solutions with Sierra Club members, supporters, and activists, and creating daily opportunities for timely and meaningful action.
