US LNG Export Tracker

The gas industry is pushing to build dozens of massive terminals to liquefy and export fracked gas. These liquefied methane gas (LNG) terminals harm local communities and ecosystems, and lock us into decades of fossil fuel use that our climate can’t afford.

This interactive tracker compiles and analyzes information on all existing and proposed LNG export projects in the US.

Use the green buttons below to view information on permitting, financing, environmental justice, emissions, and more.

For help, more information, or if you would like to use the tracker in your reporting please reach out to Johanna Heureaux-Torres (johanna.heureauxtorres@sierraclub.org) and Alison Kirsch (alison.kirsch@sierraclub.org).
