Many Sierra Club entities wish to publish their email newsletters or some portion of them on their websites. This is an excellent way to ensure your site is updated with fresh content on a periodic basis. Some entities create PDFs of their newsletters and upload to their websites, while others have been using a process to copy the code from Marketing Cloud onto Drupal. Those are acceptable solutions based on capacity, though best practice now is to use the Newsletter Drupal content type.

When you use the newsletter content type, you have the opportunity to have a home for each newsletter on your website, whether it’s quarterly, monthly, or some other frequency. You can publish each individual newsletter article as a separate blog post on your site, and have them aggregated into one newsletter issue. You can also, or instead, upload a PDF associated with each newsletter issue.
