About Honey Island Group
Honey Island Group is located on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain (including St. Tammany, Washington, Tangipahoa, & Livingston parishes). Our group volunteers with many projects such as helping with Household Hazardous Waste Pick-ups and River Clean-ups. We have educational activities that bring environmental awareness on subjects such as recycling, wetland preservation & restoration, scenic rivers, & sustainable, clean energy. We also enjoy our environment in activities such as paddling, hiking, retreats, & camping activities.
