There are upcoming hearings in Zeeland and Hudsonville to learn more about the proposed Silver Maple Solar project. Generally, Sierra Club supports solar energy, so we'll be in attendance to learn more about the project's details and advocate for community members' involvement throughout the process.

The solar developer, RWE Americas, is hosting 3 upcoming public Hearings. We encourage you to attend one of them.

  • March 17, 6 pm — Evergreen Ministries, 4512 48th Ave., Hudsonville, MI 49426
  • March 18, 6 pm — Zeeland Township Hall, 6582 Byron Road, Zeeland, MI 49464
  • March 19, 6 pm — Zeeland Township Hall, 6582 Byron Road, Zeeland, MI 49464

Sierra Club staff are attending the hearings on March 17th and 19th. If you are leaning toward supporting the Silver Maple project, but want more information, we invite you to meet us outside at 5:30. We'd like to get to know you and hear your thoughts on the proposed project.
