When did you join the Sierra Club? June 2024.

What environmental priority is most important to you? All of them, but right now protecting our public lands from greed.

Speak up to protect roadless areas by Oct. 6!

If you enjoy hiking, paddling, birding or other outdoor activities, what's your favorite and why? Birding. It enhances every outdoor experience and teaches you to slow down and observe. It’s impossible for me to observe a bird and not smile. Pure joy!

What inspired you to join the Sierra Club? I always relied on the N.C. Chapter's endorsements when voting, so figured I should get more involved and support.

What's your favorite part of being a Sierra Club member? Advocating for nature while also feeling a part of a like-minded group of people who care about our planet.

If you wanted a friend to join the Sierra Club, what would you say to encourage them? Do it, the rewards are endless!
