For more than 55 years, the Sierra Club's North Carolina Chapter has worked to safeguard our drinking water, keep our air clean, protect natural landscapes, promote clean energy, and more – for all of our families, communities and visitors.

• The Chapter leadership and staff focus on top statewide issues.
• National Sierra Club staff in North Carolina work on select topics such as dirty fuel pipelines, affordable and reliable energy, and public access to healthy federal public lands.
• Our regional Group and Network volunteer leaders team with allied community organizations on issues of local importance – and they're always happy to have more volunteers!
