WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A diverse group of religious leaders will tell Donald Trump tomorrow that mother nature is sounding the alarm on climate and that his administration’s actions are morally unacceptable. Faith leaders from numerous faith traditions will come together, wearing air filter masks over their traditional garments to show that eliminating common sense environmental protections will harm our neighbors, as dirty air and a damaged climate make people sick. Holding signs that read “Earth cries out” and admonishments to “listen” in many languages, the group will urge leaders to heed the testimony of the natural world by ensuring that scientific data guides policymaking. The faith leaders will call on people of all religious and spiritual backgrounds to join the Peoples Climate March on April 29. The group will have a moment of silent prayer followed by a loud call to action to make their point clear.

Leaders will be available for comment after the event.
