LAS VEGAS, NV - Today, the Nevada Sierra Club PAC announced a new mail campaign in support of progressive candidates Melanie Scheible (State Senate District 9), Julie Pazina (State Senate District 20), and Marilyn Dondero Loop (State Senate District 8).
The Nevada Sierra Club PAC will send out a total of six mailers highlighting the three candidates and their strong progressive environmental records. The mailers also call out the candidates’ GOP opponents, who’ve voted repeatedly to put our public lands and against environmental protections.
The mailers detail how candidates will protect public lands, expand renewable energy in Nevada, and protect the state’s air and water.
“Melanie Scheible, Julie Pazina, and Marilyn Dondero Loop are the champions Nevada needs to protect our public lands, defend against corporate polluters, and advance a clean energy agenda” said Brian Beffort, Director of the Sierra Club’s Toiyabe Chapter In Nevada. “These women are environmental leaders who know that boosting the clean energy economy is a win-win for Nevada. They will be state senators who stand with the people of Nevada and our public lands instead of the polluters and their allies.”
