Kevin McGahan Joins the Sierra Club Foundation as Chief Financial Officer

Oakland, CA -  Kevin McGahan joined the Sierra Club Foundation earlier this month as Chief Financial Officer.  Prior to joining Sierra Club Foundation, McGahan was Senior Director of Finance of Energy Foundation in San Francisco and oversaw all of the Energy Foundation’s financial activities. He has been working in nonprofit finance since his move to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1991 and has experience working for both large foundations and community-based nonprofit organizations. 

McGahan holds a Bachelors of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois and began his career in corporate trust banking prior to shifting to the nonprofit sector.
