TODAY: Glendale City Council to Vote on Pausing Grayson Power Plant Expansion

Hundreds Gather to Rally on the steps of City Hall in favor of halting expansion and studying alternative energy options.

GLENDALE, C.A. -- Today, ahead of the Glendale City Council meeting, the Glendale Environmental coalition will call on the City Council to halt the Grayson Power Plant expansion and demand a study on clean energy alternatives to power the City of Glendale. As the state assembly revisits legislation to power all of California with 100% clean energy, this vote reinforces the momentum building for 100% renewable energy throughout the state.
