The Sierra Club is hosting ten days of intersectional, people-powered, national action; addressing this moment from every angle—political, cultural, social, and personal. Check out the full schedule of Earth Week of Action events here. Events will include trivia nights, a youth activist panel and art build, and educational trainings.

The Sierra Club believes that tackling the climate crisis can only happen if we also confront systemic racism. Polluting and extractive industries are only able to do their dirty business because of society's perception that Black, Indigenous and other people of color are disposable.

Hop Hopkins, Sierra Club, Director of Organizational Transformation said,

"All I know is that if climate change and environmental injustice are the result of a society that values some lives and not others, then none of us are safe from pollution until all of us are safe from pollution."
