The Supreme Court today declined to hear an appeal from businessman Fred Eshelman in his lawsuit, Iron Bar Holdings v. Cape, which asserted a trespass claim against hunters who accessed public land via “corner crossing” near Elk Mountain, Wyo.
Washington, DC – World-renowned primatologist and conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall has died at the age of 91. A friend and leader for the entire environmental movement, Goodall was honored with the Sierra Club’s Lifetime Achievement Award at its annual Trail Blazers Ball event in April 2025.
