Transportation is the largest source of climate-disrupting pollution in the U.S., and gas guzzling cars and trucks pollute our neighborhoods every day. For a just climate future, we must support affordable, accessible public transportation and offer alternatives to dirty gas-powered cars and trucks as soon as possible.
That's why volunteers across the country are hosting events for National Drive Electric Week from September 22 to October 1! You can check out electric vehicles of all types, from cars to bikes to busses, and chat directly with owners about their experiences. Find an event near you!

Thank you for getting involved in support of electrifying our transportation system! For too long, fossil fuel CEOs have worked to keep us dependent on dangerous, gas-powered transportation. But clean cars have never been more affordable. Thanks to last year's massive climate, jobs, and justice bill, the Inflation Reduction Act, buying an electric vehicle or e-bike is even more affordable thanks to rebates that could help you save up to $7,500.
While not all of us are looking to buy a new car, truck, or e-bike, we still encourage everyone to join like-minded advocates at these fun and family-friendly celebrations. Together, we'll work to build the movement we'll need to transition away from fossil fuel-powered vehicles completely.
