Volunteer Preferences

Cleaning up trash from public areas such as the beach
Weeding and seeding in the Bluestone Park Pollinator Garden
Manning the table at protests such as No Kings, Anti-Data Center, etc.
Manning the table at events such as fall festivals, Plastic Free July, movie screenings, etc.
Anything else that might get your hands dirty in the community!
Get certified as an outings leader and help us get people outside!
Volunteer Events

We offer different ways to volunteer with us. Any time you volunteer, an experienced and trained member of our group will be there with you to help you feel comfortable, so please don't worry if you're new! We will get you set up for success!

Service Opportunities
We regularly get out in the community to do things like trash collection, garden maintenance, spreading awareness or protesting local issues, and more! If you are interested in getting out in the community and directly making a difference, we would love to have you join us!

Outings
Sierra Club Outings provide environmentally friendly outdoor adventures for people of all ages, abilities, and interests. If you are interested in organizing or getting involved with outings, please let us know!

Tabling
"Tabling" with the Sierra Club is a chance to get to know community members, chat, and provide information to folks on environmental and climate justice issues. We host informational tables at different community events in order to talk with people about the work we are doing! Keep folks informed and engaged on our issues and upcoming events. We will have flyers, literature, and resources! It’s also always fun to hand out stickers, buttons, and other fun free items!

We table at lots of different events! Volunteers who table will also have a chance to participate in and enjoy the events they attend.
