The governing body for the Coastal Virginia Group, the Executive Committee meets the first Sunday of each month. Meetings are open to members. Please email if you want to attend the Ex-Com Meetings. Seven members are elected through annual elections by Chapter members (4 to be elected in even-numbered years and 3 elected in odd-numbered years)

At the annual Holiday Party on December 17, 2016, we honored Fred Adams who stepped down as chair of The Chesapeake Bay Group. We expressed our appreciation of Fred Adams, a member of Sierra Club since 1981 and a volunteer and leader for all those years; We bestowed upon Fred the title, Chesapeake Bay Group Chair, Emeritus. (now Coastal Virginia Group)
