Volunteer Lobbying
The Sierra Club Washington State Chapter works to hold elected officials accountable to protect our salmon and orcas, protect public lands, fight climate change, and safeguarding Washington's clean air and water for all to enjoy and explore.
One of the ways that you, a volunteer, can get involved is joining an In-District Lobby Team. Volunteer lobbyists meet with state legislators to communicate about Sierra Club priority issues and learn what issues matter to the legislators. Sierra Club provides lobby training, issues briefings - including fact sheets and talking points - and overall Lobby Team support.
