Protect Wetland Buffers Inform Snohomish County Council members
Thanks to your efforts, the Snohomish County Council postponed a decision that would have degraded protections for wetlands buffers. But the issue will come back for a vote soon and we need to make sure that council members have accurate information about the importance of those buffers.
Last month we submitted more than 350 comments asking for buffer protection, more than 100 of us attended the hearing virtually, and 35 citizens testified in person. Now we need to do it again. We can't give up. |

Local activists have filed a suit to protect one of those forests, called "Stilly Revisited," an important mature forest in Snohomish County.
