Clean Transportation

The Sierra Club is committed to the advancement of sustainable transportation options, such as public transit, shared-use paths and Complete Streets.

Ohio joins with Sierra Club Chapters across the country in doing important work with cities, regions, states, and transit agencies to promote less driving by improving public transit and changing land use for more walkable, bikeable and transit-friendly communities. These complement National Sierra Club campaign actions for electric vehicles and federal fuel efficiency standards toward the Sierra Club's goal of 50% reduction in oil use by 2030 – see Solution overview
