Phone Calls, Lobby Visits and Writing a Letters to the Editor (LTE). Another critical tool for advancing clean energy is writing Letters to the Editor (LTEs) in your local newspaper. These are very short letters, approximately 200 words, expressing your support for clean energy. Elected Officials follow media coverage closely and use it as a gauge for a constituent opinion.
