Our Outings Committee organizes regional hikes and XC ski trips as well as trips to National Parks and Monuments. Hikes are in a variety of elevations, regions, lengths, and we require participants to sign a waiver at the trailhead.
New hike information is sent to interested WSSC members by email announcement. If interested in outings, fill out the membership form on our home page and we will add you to our list. We also send out invitations to general members. Some hikes and outdoor events may require camping and lodging.
Dolores River Fieldtrip
The hanging flume viewed on the lower right section of the photo is of historical interest in the Dolores River Canyon and was a point of interest on a tour given by Scott Braden of the Colorado Wildland's Project to WSSC participants.
