Connie Di Cicco is a first-time candidate but already has an impressive understanding of how to be of service under the Gold Dome. Connie previously served as Rep. Mary Frances Williams’ chief of staff, has existing relationships with other stakeholders and legislators, and thoroughly understands the process of getting things done at the Capitol. Connie is a committed environmentalist who is particularly keen on addressing environmental injustices in and near her district. We know she’ll be a strong voice on coal ash clean up and ethylene oxide emissions in Cobb. She’ll also be a strong progressive voice in favor of clean energy and transitioning to a post-carbon future. Connie will be good for Sierra Club’s issues and good for Georgia.
