Podcast Uses Iowa Stories and Art to Communicate on Climate

Must-see Podcast "The Art of Climate Dialogue: Stories from Iowa"

A new fourteen-episode series titled The Art of Climate Dialogue: Stories from Iowa launched this week explores how storytelling and artistic strategies can be used to help facilitate climate dialogue in agricultural communities. The goal of the series is to amplify the work that the fifteen podcast interviewees are doing at this intersection and, in particular, to reach people throughout the Midwest who may be looking for ways to facilitate climate dialogue in their own communities.

The podcast series features thirteen conversations with artists, farmers, community-engaged researchers, and community organizers and activists who have used arts and storytelling strategies to talk about climate change and agriculture in Iowa. Through this podcast, interviewees share these strategies so that listeners can implement them in their own communities.

A team of graduate students at Iowa State University produced this work with the EcoTheater Lab. Sierra Club acted as an outreach partner on the podcast. Find it online at https://www.ecotheatrelab.com/the-art-of-climate-dialogue
