The John Muir Exhibit is a virtual museum providing resources and information about John Muir, past and present.

John Muir, one of the founders of the Sierra Club, was this country's most famous and influential naturalist and conservationist. He taught the people of his time and ours the importance of experiencing and protecting our natural heritage. His words have heightened our perception of nature, and his personal and determined involvement in the great conservation questions of the day was and remains an inspiration for environmental activists everywhere.

The John Muir House in Martines, CA, remains largely unchanged since Muir's time. It has been preserved as part of the John Muir National Historic Site and continues to be a significant landmark, reflecting the life and legacy of John Muir.

Yosemite Conservation Heritage Center

The Sierra Club's historic LeConte Memorial in Yosemite Valley includes a comprehensive display about John Muir and his life and legacy. A life-size photographic cut-out of Muir greets visitors, and a creative Earth-Turtles-and-Muir quote surprises visitors.
