Local groups within the Massachusetts chapter plan activities and advance legislative, advocacy, and educational campaigns in specific regions of the commonwealth:
- Cape Cod
(Barnstable, Nantucket, and Dukes counties including the Elizabeth Islands, and the portion of Bourne that is west of the Cape Cod Canal)
Each local Group holds elections for new members of their Executive Committees. The Chapter and Groups form sub-committees that report to their Executive Committees -- for example, a new Nominating Committee is needed for each year's elections.
