We strongly believe that everyone should have access to nature and wild spaces, and that by having a personal connection to nature's beauty, people will feel inspired to work to protect it. That's why it's imperative that land that was set aside to be wild stay that way, and not be opened up for logging, mining, drilling, or other destructive industrial processes. Public lands must remain in the public's hands.
The Oregon Chapter has also had longstanding campaigns to defend our high deserts and wild forests.
