Running 1,000 Miles to Raise $1,000

Last year, more than any other, I explored and enjoyed wild places. This year, my goal is to do my part to protect them.

I’ve registered to run the Bryce Canyon Ultras for Team Sierra to benefit the Sierra Club, an environmental organization dedicated to exploring, enjoying, and protecting our planet. To train for this event, I’ll be running 1,000 miles from January to June, which will include two ultramarathons. During this time, my goal is to raise $1,000. Running the ultra in June will be a celebration of accomplishing this goal.

Funds you donate will enable the Sierra Club to do things like:

• Provide cleaner, cheaper, energy.
• Protect our land, water, and air -- from Bryce Canyon to the other side of the globe.
• Save animals being threatened with extinction.
• Make the outdoors accessible for all of us.

I’m inviting you to help me cross the finish line by making a donation.

As a trail runner and backpacker who lives, works, and plays on public lands, I’m running for the Sierra Club because they are working to protect the wild places I care so much about.
