Bozeman, MT-- Yesterday, the Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission voted unanimously against a grizzly bear hunt in Montana outside the boundaries of Yellowstone National Park-- blocking a trophy hunt of the species in the state for 2018. In making their decision, officials noted ongoing litigation challenging the loss of federal protections for the Yellowstone grizzly bear population.

U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York ruled today that the Trump administration illegally delayed important energy efficiency standards that will help protect American communities from dangerous pollution and save customers and businesses billions of dollars. Sierra Club, Earthjustice, Consumer Federation of America, and NRDC sued the Department of Energy in 2017 for refusing to publish five energy efficiency standards which were finalized in late 2016.
