This type of legislation has wide and bipartisan support amongst voters and Congress should work swiftly to pass it and send it to President Biden to sign.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Sens. Alex Padilla and Susan Collins reintroduced the Outdoors for All Act in Congress. The act, if passed, would codify the Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership (ORLP) program, a National Park Service grant program aimed at helping economically disadvantaged communities with little to no access to public outdoor recreation spaces.

New Brunswick — Today, Governor Phil Murphy announced that he has directed the state Department of Environmental Protection to propose adoption of the Advanced Clean Cars II (ACC II) program by the end of 2023. ACC II would set the state on a path to lower vehicle emissions and a healthy transition to electric vehicles and cleaner air, by setting gradually increasing sales targets so that every new light-duty vehicle sold in New Jersey will be a zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) by 2035.

New Brunswick, NJ - This afternoon at Rutgers University, New Brunswick Campus, Governor Murphy announced a series of six environmental policy moves through executive orders and rulemaking processes. The Governor’s first announcement was an Executive order stating New Jersey’s accelerated goal to achieve 100 percent clean electricity by the year 2035. New Jersey’s previous goal committed to 100 percent clean electricity by 2050.
