WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission released an Environmental Assessment for the methane gas pipeline Southeast Supply Enhancement Project, proposed for Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama. The project is meant to move over 1.5 million dekatherms per day of gas and is the largest expansion of gas infrastructure currently proposed in the Southeast.
