Washington, DC -- Today, the Washington Post is reporting that Donald Trump’s Department of the Interior has approved a land swap deal that will permit a road to be constructed through the Izembek National Wildlife Refuge. In doing so, Trump and Ryan Zinke will reverse wildlife protections that have preserved the refuge for decades.

Today, the Associated Press reported that the cleanup at seven Superfund sites touted by Scott Pruitt was completed before he ever took office. According to AP, records show that construction at all seven sites being promoted by Pruitt was completed years ago. The formal removal of the Superfund sites is a procedural step taken after data shows the site is no longer harmful. Additionally, AP reports that the EPA sought to remove four of the seven sites in 2016.

Washington, DC -- In 2017, Americans bought or leased nearly 200,000 electric cars (199,826), a 26% increase over 2016 sales. In December, more Americans  purchased or leased electric vehicles (EVs) than in any other single month to date. In total, in the U.S. more than 763,000 electric vehicles have been sold since they first came on the market about seven years ago, putting the industry on track to surpass 1 million electric vehicles on U.S. roads by the end of 2018.
