Serving on this Committee has provided me with the opportunity to share ideas and work with a team of committed and passionate people. Education, participation, and passion are the tools required as we focus more on our rural areas.  If selected, the values and passion shared by this team will enable more awareness of environmental issues and concerns in our Rural areas

Rural areas have unique challenges due to physical isolation, natural resources dependent economics and high poverty rates. Having lived in a Rural area my entire life, and currently serving as Chair of the SCDP Rural Caucus, I will continue to bring issues that affect rural areas, while continuing to share environmental awareness and speak boldly on issues deemed necessary for environmental issues especially regarding Rural areas.

Thank you for your consideration.
