Ashia is a passionate volunteer with the Dallas Sierra Club, bringing experience in communications and organizational management from her role as the communications director for National Youth Week USA - OMI Internationals.

Inspired by a school garden project in 5th grade, Ashia developed a deep passion for nature and furthered her commitment to sustainability through her highschool’s Eco Club while also advocating for environmental preservation broadly around the DFW Metroplex.

In her current roles, Ashia is an active member of the Dallas Sierra Club Excom and also serves as Secretary. She envisions the club growing as a powerful force for environmental change and engaging a diverse range of individuals. Ashia's ultimate goal is to inspire widespread environmental awareness and action, making a lasting impact in her role with the Club.
