Renee Roberson

Renee joined the Sierra Club to have an opportunity to learn about nature, eliminate Environmental Injustices, and have fun saving the planet, while teaching communities what we can all do to save our environment.

Renee is a Bishop Dunne graduate, holds a masters degree in Public Health and is currently employed as a Registered Nurse at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. She is a Parish Nurse for the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, Parish Nurse in charge of the Health Ministry at Holy Cross Catholic Church. and community liaison for the Clinic Advisory Board of Parkland Hospital. 

Community affiliations include, Vice Chair of the Public Health Committee, a subcommittee of the Environmental Commission, Program Chair for the Sierra Club, member NAACP and past Environmental Chair and new member North Texas Space Society. She is the District 8 Environmental Commissioner appointed by Councilman Atkins.

•    Participant facilitating petitions in opposition to batch plants
•    Community collaborate with the CAG for Lane Plating a contamination Super Site
•    Collaborate with the city and neighborhood groups to identify air and water polluters

Renee focus is on ongoing community education of city services and internal education for factors that improve negative environmental impacts.
