Hiking, bicycling, skiing, snowshoeing, birding walks, canoeing, kayaking and more!
The Sierra Club cares about our volunteers, members and our communities. We have canceled all in-person outings, training workshops, meetings and social events until July 5th. We are using virtual meeting tools to keep our members and friends connected. Please stay safe and healthy!
In Washington state outings are provided by local groups that operate independently.
The Washington State Chapter Calendar is a good starting place to find outings, but not all outings are on this calendar. Use the calendar's Map View tab to see outings by locations.
Local groups post outings on their websites and/or on one of the seven Meetup sites (see links below).

Sierra Club Outings
Started In 1901 by Sierra Club Founder John Muir. He knew the best way to persuade people to work to save valuable wild areas was to take them into the wilderness and let them experience for themselves the beauty that needs defending.
